The Global Students Initiative(GSI) club of GWNU held its Welcoming Party this 19th of September 2016 for the fall semester at the Global E-Zone. The GSI is a club run by many students and its members including current and former students of the Global E-Zone. It is a place where they can network and practice English with other students and is also a way to stay in touch with the Global E-Zone if they cannot attend regularly during the semester or if they have already graduated.
At the welcoming party this year, staff and club members, along with foreign exchange students from China, Russia and Vietnam attended the party. Everyone mingled and enjoyed the Manito game and several other games which were played to break the ice between the members. Food and beverage were served and everyone enjoyed the chance to speak and socialize using the English language. The party was even made more dynamic and diverse by the Global E-Zone Professors who came to the party and showed support for the GSI.
